  • Co-Impact

    Co-Impact has created a unique model for dealing with the unemployment rate in the Arab Israeli community in Israel. Collaborating with a vast network of partners, from government entities to the private sector, local authorities, and more, Co-Impact aims to make a fundamental change in the private sector, encourage more and more companies to hire Arab Israelis, and help Arab individuals to find the suitable job placement for them.

  • She codes;

    She codes is a community of women developers, founded in 2013 to achieve a goal of 50% women software developers in Israel. We train, promote, and encourage women to integrate into key roles and other technological positions in the Israeli high-tech industry. Although learning is individual, we are meticulous about maintaining a community atmosphere at all branches by encouraging women to help each other and be assisted by the group.

    Founded in 2008, Tsofen is a joint Arab & Jewish organization that promotes hi-tech in the Arab society as a lever for economic development and the creation of shared society in Israel. Driven by a vision of a shared society, we aim for a fair representation of Arabs in Israel’s booming hi-tech industry. Our mission is to integrate Arabs into Israel’s hi-tech sector and to bring hi-tech centers to Arab cities. Tsofen has won the Ministry of Labor tender and operate within the last 6 years in the northern part of Israel.

  • Tech-Career

    Since 2002, Tech-Career has worked to open up the Hi-tech industry to the Ethiopian Israeli community by creating a unique model of technological training. Based on the 90% success rate of our graduates, we used our expertise to develop a program which creates opportunities for other sectors of the population including Arabs, Ultra-Orthodox & the socially disadvantaged. This program is supported by the Ministry of Labor & JDC. At the conference we will co-present with WIX, one of our Hi-tech partners, to tell you how you too can be part of this success model to hire great, new employees.

    Heznekim is a 7 year old program initiated by Yedidut Toronto in collaboration with Israel’s Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, and Social Services. The aim of Heznekim is to create a cohort of Haredi graduates of prestigious institutions in the field of Hi-tech and to support their transition into high-quality positions within market-leading companies. The program also aims to increase employer awareness of the possibilities presented by employing candidates from this sector.

    The Employment and Diversity Administration in the Ministry of Labor is responsible for the formulation of policy, coordination of governmental action, and development of dedicated programs to address the shortage of skilled human capital in the high-tech industry. The department, together with our partners, operates innovative programs and pilots to integrate target populations into the industry, with an emphasis on underrepresented populations, including women, the Arab sector, the ultra-Orthodox sector, and Israelis of Ethiopian origin. Our goal is to support the hi-tech industry in identifying and benefiting from additional potential workforce and to promote high-quality employment.
